Finding the Right Property
List your requirements: location, number of bedrooms, and proximity to schools or work. When viewing, look beyond the paint—check the structure, the neighborhood, and the potential resale value.
The Offer to Purchase (OTP)
When you find "the one," we will help you draft an Offer to Purchase. This is a legally binding document. It will include your offered price, your deposit, and any conditions (like the sale of your current home).
Understanding Hidden Costs
- Transfer Duty: Tax paid to SARS (Exempt under R1.1 million).
- Conveyancing Fees: Paid to the attorneys for the legal transfer.
- Bond Registration: Fees charged by the bank's attorneys.
Transfer and Registration
The process moves to the attorneys. It typically takes **8 to 12 weeks** for the property to be registered in your name at the Deeds Office. Once registered, the keys are yours!
